WHO'S BEHIND THIS
I use a wheelchair. I also have opinions about design, and most wheelchair merch is bad — gift-shop clip-art, third-person slogans, stuff clearly made by someone who's never actually sat in the chair they're designing around.
I decided to create the shirts I really wanted to wear. They're designed with the seated view in mind, not just a standing model that's been cropped down as an afterthought. The jokes on them are funny because they're relatable and honest, not because they're trying to explain some complicated concept to anyone. I wanted to make shirts that are genuine and amusing, without feeling the need to overexplain or justify the humor.
Some things are just understood, and if they're not, that's okay - they weren't meant for everyone anyway.
